Warranty Information

Solstar International Pte Ltd, Singapore warrants to the original purchaser that Solstar International Pte Ltd authorized service center will be responsible for repairing or replacing any part of the purchased SOLSTAR product out of full product line which proves defective due to improper material and/or workmanship subject to the terms and conditions as follows:

1. TERMS OF WARRANTY

  • No labour charge for 24 months
  • Free replacement of parts for 24 months (subject to Point No. 3) However, parts used for replacement are warranted only for the remainder of the above warranty period.

2. THIS WARRANTY IS VALID ONLY WHEN

  • This warranty certificate is presented in full together with the original proof of purchase (purchase invoice or payment receipt) bearing the purchase date.
  • The SOLSTAR product covered under Workshop warranty (see the table below) must be delivered to SOLSTAR Authorized Service Center at the owner’s risk and expense. For Onsite warranty, please contact the Solstar Service Centre. –
    where ever applicable.

3. THIS WARRANTY PROVIDED BY SOLSTAR INTERNATIONAL PTE LTD, DOES NOT COVER

  • Products which have been subject to abuse, accident, alteration, modification, tampering, negligence, misuse, faulty installation, lack of reasonable care, or if repaired or serviced by anyone other than a service facility authorized by
  • Distributor to render such service, or if affixed to any attachment not provided with the products, or if the model number has been altered, tampered with, defaced or removed.
  • Installation and removal for repair.
  • Damage that occurs in shipment, due to act of God, and cosmetic damage.
  • Products that have been used commercially or professionally.
  • Breakage of any kind due to mishandling.
  • The warranty does not cover any damage to the outer cabinet of the product, battery, bulbs and tubes or any other part which is normally replaceable and changed by the customer.

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED ABOVE DISTRIBUTOR DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGES.

Customers connecting SOLSTAR products directly to the main power outlet or using any inferior stabliser, risk voiding their SOLSTAR Warranty.

Please be advised in advance that, in cases where product repair or parts replacement are difficult, such service may be declined, and in cases where required parts are out of stock or not available locally, repair or replacement service may be subject to delay.

To make warranty claim:

  1. Please contact your nearest authorised service centre.
  2. Provide your original proof of purchase & Warranty card to enable you to proceed quickly in the event of a claim
  3. The warranty is in addition to (and does not exclude or modify in any way) any non-excludable statutory rights you may have (including under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (CPFTA) under the Singapore Law).
  4. It would also assist SOLSTAR, to ensure that the correct repairs are effected, if you provide with the product at the time of your claim, a detailed description of the problem you are experiencing.
